The 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda will be observed by the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata. The Instiute is making an animation with 2D with 3D toon shading on the ideals and times of Swami Vivekananda for this occassion.
Apart from the animation, the Institute is also planning other programmes:
National and International seminars, workshops and musical conferences
Creative competitions for the students, especially in Sanskrit and a few foreign languages
Exhibitions on Swami Vivekananda
Youth conventions and awareness campaign
Publishing books and CDs/DVDs
Documentary and animation films on Swami Vivekananda
Scholarships to poor students in select poverty and violence-stricken pockets
