E-journal: Three renowned E-journals consortiums, namely JSTOR, J-GATE and Oxford University Press were introduced in the Library in January 2010. This has become immensely popular with the readers in general.

These sections keep a good collection of books too. The General Library has over 2,49,541 books including 5,021 rare books and 424 Indian and foreign journals. Besides, there are rich collection of books in the Research Section on Indology and exclusive special titles at Vivekananda Archive.

The library timing are from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The library remains closed on Sundays and other Institute holidays.
